A Superior Court Judge has dismissed two claims made in the legal battle between the Town of Belville, Town of Leland and H2GO, the water and sewer authority serving residents in Brunswick County. The H2GO controversy centers around a reverse osmosis plant costing about $30 million to build and first proposed in 2015. The argument came to a head last November when the outgoing H2GO board voted to dissolve the authority and sell its assets to the Town of Belville.
