Del Routh, spokesman for the BCSO, said deputies in the detective division with the assistance of the NC DMV license AND theft bureau, Shallotte police and the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office have disrupted a theft ring operating in the Ash area where a shop owner and two employees allegedly stole more than $30,000 in property.

Shallotte man facing cocaine, marijuana charges

Anthony Lamar Hill, of the 4000 block of Maple Hill Road, was charged with two counts of felony probation violation, resisting a public officer, possession with the intent to sell or deliver cocaine, and possession of marijuana up to half an ounce, according to the Brunswick County Jail’s inmate bonding form.

Green Resource adds Winston-Salem distribution center
